A well-developed epidemiologic capacity is the foundation, or
core capacity, upon which local health departments detect, evaluate and design
effective responses to community health problems.
Technical assistance in:

procedures

of epidemiologic principals of surveillance, analysis and intervention.
WHAT needs to be done ?
Identification of procedures and standard actions associated with
reportable disease investigations, identification of reporting requirements and
descriptions on how to complete appropriate reports specific to your State and
locality.
HOW will it be done ?
Develop your organizational structure including administrative and operational
structure, daily work processes, reporting requirements, job tasks and “best
practices” for the identification and control of communicable disease.
WHO will do it ?
We can help development and/or enhancement of your staff’s professional skill
sets as well. We can also help you enhance your in-house capacity to complete
community health assessments, conduct program evaluations, develop public health
recommendations based upon data, and investigate unusual health events that fall
outside your traditional standard policies and procedures.
